Fun with our favorite boys!

The girls and I had our favorite Holmes guys over today. How cute is he . . . really! Casey loved the swing!

The three 'big' kids had a competition to see how many dandilions they could get in their buckets. . . very helpful to me who can't keep up with getting rid of the darn things.

Until the point where they found the ones that the seeds had already popped out and they blew them all over the yard. Great, there goes the rest of the yard : )

Okay . . . wait . . . I have 5 kids in my care . . . 1 in swing . . . 2, 3 and 4 picking flowers. . . where's 5?

Of course she is 4 feet above ground behind me while I am taking pictures of kids picking flowers . . . aahhh!

She is going to give me an ulcer! Gotta love her!!!

Let the birthdaying begin . . .

For my girls, celebrating their birthdays takes about a month because we have such a big family, which is a good thing, but we have to spread the love around. So she had a blast digging into her cupcakes (yes, papa said you get TWO when you are two, nice huh).

Hmmmm . . . do I like my cupcakes and icecream or my binky better?

Definitely my binky : )
Anyone know the name of a good orthodontist?

My Angel

What more can you say about such a sweet little bum ; )

Trouble!!

So let's talk about Lexi. While Kailey is my bubbly, chatty, dramatic one, Lexi is my quiet, inquisitive, mischievous one. I turn my back for a minute and she is up to something, guaranteed. I was cleaning up the house a bit in the living room, 10 feet from my children in the playroom, and thought "Lexi sure is quiet". So I walk into the playroom to find her standing a the playroom kitchen set with a five gallon tub of ice cream, a spoon, and a mouthfull of ice cream. Yes, she managed to be sneaky enough to get it out of the freezer, which is on the bottom at our house, get herself a spoon and go to the next room in the moment I wasn't looking and start going to town! I couldn't help but grap my camera before scolding her : ) I am just going to be greatful she didn't break a bone in the process.

Sleep like Daddy

Yes, they sleep like their dad. I am just happy that it has been a week of mommy getting to sleep. This is my third post as a blogger and 2 of the 3 are of my kids sleeping, can everyone tell I am ecstatic to get to sleep!

At Last . . . . they sleep!

I have been waiting since Lexi was born to mark that section in the baby book where you write when they slept through the night. At nearly two years old she is finally sleeping and it is all thanks to big sister Kailey. Kailey has been begging me since Lexi was born to let them sleep together and after nights of not being able to deal with her not sleeping any more, I gave in and put her crib mattress on the floor next to Kailey's bed. BINGO! She slept.

In the beginning . . .

My girls are growing up so quickly. I realized that I would like to document and share our time together in a more efficient and fun way. Sleepless nights, broken legs, peeing in a cup on your bed. . . the list is endless of silly and scary things my girls have done. So, here goes, I am officially a blogger . . . and it is all about these cuties. Stay tuned.
