Adam and Eve

Lexi had to draw a picture of Adam and Eve for AWANA. SOOOOO cute!!! I love that Eve has long pink hair ; )

Green and hams

Lexi is 3 . . . going on 7. Always trying to catch up to big sister ; ) Lately she had been trying to read on her own. She looks at a book, flips each page and creates her own story by just looking at the pictures and thinking of what her interpretation of the story is. Today she was reading Green Eggs and Ham. A classic. She went through the entire book, which repeats itself over and over in regards to wording. Her version was "I do not like green and hams... not even with a fish in my face..." and on and on the pages went... all begining with "I do not like green and hams". It was priceless to listen to!! Love it!!

Sicky girly

Poor Kailey had a nasty flu bug. She is a kiddo who pukes with every illness she gets! Her fever goes up and she is delerious and says some interesting things. This time, she was sleeping on the couch with me, as I won't let her sleep alone when she gets like that. She woke up crying, saying she was hot. I asked her if she wanted a drink. She replied, "Well how is that gonna help me?!?" in a very exasperated tone. She rolled over and went back to sleep within a second. All I could do was chuckle.
