potty words

Conversation at the mall:
Lexi: Mom why is their a police man here?
Me: He is a security officer, kinda like a police man but they just work at the stores to keep people safe.
Lexi: Safe? why?
Me: In case people make bad choices.
Lexi: You mean like say potty words?
Me: Yep... exactly.
LOL... she is hilarious!!!!

Dialog

Dialog of the evening:

Lexi (bawling to the point of near hyperventilation): Kailey can you help me?
Kailey: What sweetie?
Lexi: (still bawling) Mom took my TV privilage away for not listening.
Kailey (in a very calm compassionate tone): First you need to take 5 deep breathes and CALM down. Next, ask mom "is there anything to do to earn the privilage back?"
Lexi: ok (finally calming down)

Meanwhile... mom is in the background trying not to laugh at the hilariousness of it all : ) Where do they get this stuff?!?! And how amazing is it that my 4 year old listens to my 8 year olds recommendations so well.... cracks me up!
